Security or Abuse, What Premise Has Been Set?

We have all heard or read of abuses of power by agencies and departments of the federal government.  The abuse of NSL's (National Security Letters) by the FBI are as egregious as wiretapping violations or other abuses written about.   
 
Even when the FBI was told many of the NSL's were illegal or unconstitutional the FBI retained the information collected.  We want to be clear-We believe most employees of the FBI, the NSA, DHS are hardworking, loyal employees. 
 
It is the "culture" that is corrupt.
 
We believe there are many within these agencies who are well intending and we support each of these hard working patriots.  But, we do believe the "culture" they exist within is clearly corrupt; as shown by their actions.
